Cisco Call Manager Express coupled with Cisco Unity
Express provides a complete Voice Over IP (VoIP) solution
for small and medium sized companies. All of the call
processing and voice mail capabilities are fully integrated
into Cisco's access routers to provide a cost effective
data and telephony solution. The Call manager express
can be scaled to support up to 240 users per office
or branch location.
Cisco Unity Express
Cisco Unity Express provides the voice mail and automated-attendant
capabilities of the phone system. Unity Express can
support 100 mail boxes including group mail boxes. Multiple
automated-attendants can be configured to support a
multi-tenant facility with ease.
A Completely Converged Network
The main benifit of this Voice Over IP Solution is
Voice and Data Integration, where your voice and data
network come together to form one reliable and scaleable
platform. This integration saves on implementation costs
and more importantly maintenance fees. Because the routers
and switches are used for both the data and phone network,
only one support contract is needed. There is no longer
a need to keep both telephone and network support contracts.
In addtion to the savings, the CME system can increase
productivity. The Call Manager Express system can access
information from your company database and provide display
the information to the user on the phone display. It
can also maintain detailed call detail records for billing
and accounting purposes.
